ABOUT

As the recipient of the AIGA Portfolio Day 2010's Rick Tharp Scholarship, Mike was also awarded the opportunity to brand the following year's event. For 2011, the branding concept is inspired by individuality. Every attendee of Portfolio Day brings with them their unique design perspective, aesthetics, and aspirations. To honor that, the identity was created to be uniquely idiosyncratic, and thus the individual letters forms were created as the main driving visual as the event identity.
